Coffee & Cake

Artisan coffee and homebaked cake at Six On Castle is a treat not to be missed! Debbie and Steve have established Six on Castle as one of the go-to places in Bampton and it is always buzzing with locals, cyclists, and visitors.  With a boho chic decor, the space is one where you can relax, chat to friends, cosy up by the woodburner and always feel welcome.

Coffee culture has become the norm over the last few years and the growth of the small independent coffee shop has become increasingly popular and very welcome.  At Six on Castle, every coffee is served with love!

Steve

Steve is originally from South Africa and brings the African warmth to the coffee shop. He is usually to be found behind the counter busy making coffee!

Three Reasons we use New Ground Coffee

New Ground Thinks Differently

New pushes boundaries. It is thinking differently about what has come before and never settling for the ordinary.

At NewGround this is at the heart of everything we do. From our ethically sourced high-grade coffee, carefully selected from small-scale farms around the world, to our state-of-the-art facilities where we expertly roast each batch to reveal new exciting flavours every time.

New Ground Believes in Coffee with Conviction

We believe coffee can go beyond the cup and can be used as a catalyst for change right here in our very own communities. This is why we use our business to create work and training opportunities for ex-offenders across the UK, giving some of the most overlooked people in society a new beginning.

New Ground is committed to doing what’s right, not what’s easy.

"What on earth could be more luxurious than a sofa, a book and a cup of coffee?"
